More body parts have been discovered in Meath, where Christy Gaffney's remains were found last month.
It's believed to be a human skull.
Gardaí say the discovery was made yesterday afternoon in The Mayne in Clonee.
The body part has now been taken away to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown for a post mortem examination.
DNA tests will also be carried out.
37 year old Christy Gaffney was found brutally murdered and chopped into eight pieces in a field in Clonee on November 1st.
The convicted criminal from Blanchardstown in West Dublin was reported missing in October.
