A member of the National Public Health Emergency team has described a video showing members of a Dublin sports club speculating about who will get infected with Covid-19 next, as disappointing.
The video on Tik Tok, that has gone viral, shows the girls talking about sharing drinks and licking faces as they discuss who may get a positive diagnosis.
The video emerged as two sports clubs in the area suspended all activity as a precaution after reports of a number of cases in the community.
Skerries Harps says it became aware of a number of potential close contacts to a confirmed case over the weekend and has taken the decision suspend activities while it waits for test results.
The GAA club also said it didn't condone the content of the social media video.

While Skerries Town FC says postponing all club activities is a precautionary measure.
In a post on Facebook, the club said;
"In light recent events in Skerries, we've decided postpone all club activities until further information is made available for the club to further assess....There are no suspected Covid-19 cases in the club."
Medical Virologist and member of the NPHET, Dr Cillian De Gascun, says everyone needs to take the virus seriously;
"If the virus gets an opportunity it can spread very very quickly and obviously we have seen that with large outbreaks in recent weeks and then the large number of outbreaks within the household settings so it's obviously I suppose disappointing behviour to see."
