Thousands more businesses are reopening their doors today as Phase 2 of the reopening plan gets underway.
It's the first time in three months the shutters will be removed for many retailers. Customers are warned queuing is likely while browsing may be discouraged.
Dublin city council has launched a campaign to inform shoppers of the changes, enlisting the help of famous Dublin actor Colm Meaney.

New blue signage has been added to the streets of Dublin city, there are information notices on queuing etiquette, and spacing guidelines.
DCC has a number of tips for people coming into the city;
• Plan out your journey in advance and think about what you are travelling in for/which shops etc.
• Be mindful that public transport is restricted to 20% capacity and that you are being asked to keep it free at peak times for essential workers.
• Walk or Cycle where possible.
• Practise social distancing and queueing etiquette at all times.
• Continue to practise good hygiene at all times regarding coughing, hand washing etc.
• Respectfully engage with, and take direction from on-street and off-street frontline personnel, Shop Assistances, Gardaí, City Council Staff and Transport Providers.
Also as part of Phase 2, groups of up to six can meet indoors from today and those who need to cocoon can also have visitors but they must wear face masks and gloves.
The travel limit has been extended from 5 to 20 km while you can travel anywhere within your own county.
While up to 25 friends and family can now attend funerals.
