Pinewood Stores in Balbriggan has been announced as the latest shop to sell a winning lotto ticket worth millions.
A ticket worth €3,931,066 was sold on Saturday.
The National Lottery has confirmed the winner has made contact and arrangements are now being made for them to claim their prize.
David Fitzgibbon who has run Pinewood Stores for the past 17 years was delighted: "What a call to get from The National Lottery! I heard that the winning ticket was sold in Dublin but never guessed that it was here.
"The store is situated in the heart of a local community here in Balbriggan so it’s lovely to think that one of our regulars may have had a huge win over the weekend. I’d imagine there were huge celebrations on Saturday night after the draw.
"It’s a massive amount to win so I am delighted for the winner. I wish them all the very best and hope they enjoy their big win."
