A young man and his teenage friend are due to be sentenced today over the death of a German student in Rialto.
Thomas Heinrich died after being stabbed three times during a fight outside his apartment in December 2012.
Wesley Kelly of St. Anthony's Road and his co-accused, who can't be named because of his age, stood trial last month for murdering Thomas Heinrich.
The Munich native's friend Robert Rinker was also attacked and both of the accused were found guilty of assault causing harm to him.
A jury also found the younger of the two guilty of murder Mr. Heinrich but they couldn't reach agreement in relation to Wesley Kelly.
Yesterday, 20-year-old Kelly was rearraigned on the murder charge and he pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of manslaughter which was accepted.
Both are due back in court today for sentencing.
