A second man has been arrested by Gardaí investigating a fatal stabbing in Tallaght on Monday night.
45 year-old Ionel Nicolae Diaconu was found injured at a house in the Castle Park area. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 19 year-old man was arrested a short time later and remains in Garda custody.
Yesterday a second man was detained. They are both being held at Garda stations in the capital and can be questioned for up to 24 hours.
A Garda spokesperson says; "the investigation is being led by a Senior Investigating Officer and a Garda Family Liaison Officer has been appointed to liaise with the family of the deceased."
