Ruairi Quinn was heckled and booed last month at the ASTI conference by teachers who are angry over the introduction of a new Junior cycle
In it teachers will continuously assess their own pupils - instead of the current state exam.
Both the ASTI and the TUI have voted to withdraw co-operation from the the new curriculum.
