Work to refurbish the roof of the Iveagh Markets in the Liberties is finally due to begin.
That's after a portion of it fell in last year.
It's been confirmed restoration works on the Dublin 8 complex, that closed in the 1990s, will start later this month.
It will involve securing the historic market hall site, erecting an internal scaffold and carrying out surveys of the roof and structure that was built by the Guinness family in 1906.

According to the Liberties Business Area Improvement Initiative the project to make the market structurally sound and watertight will continue for two years.
It comes after part of the roof collapsed last year as a legal row over who owns the building continues.
