The Ringsend BusConnects corridor to Dublin city centre, that includes a new bridge in the docklands, has got the go ahead.
It's the seventh core bus corridor to be approved as part of plans to overhaul the bus network in the capital.
The Ringsend route, that will connect the glass bottle site at Poolbeg to the city centre, has been granted approval by An Bord Pleanala.
It will involve a new public transport and cycling bridge being built at the end of the south quays, that will run perpendicular to the Tom Clarke East Link Bridge.
Implementing the core bus corridor will also involve moving historic rolling lift bridges on North Wall Quay.
Despite concerns about dismantling the protected structures, the green light has been given to reconstruct them nearby.
