More entrances to venues and mask wearing could pave the way to the return of gigs and concerts.
They are some of the findings of a major study in Germany.
It found indoor concerts have a 'low' impact on infection rates - provided they are well ventilated and follow public health protocols.
Immunology professor Luke O'Neill says people will also have to change the way they order food and drink at events: "The more entrances into the venue, the decreased risk of spread.
"90 per cent mask wearing is needed at these events.
"If you go at the break to get food from a food stall, if you hang around that's a bad thing, so get your food and go back to your seat."
