The CEO of Rehab says her salary is not paid from state funds, and is 20% below the market average.
Angela Kerins and other senior reps for the group are before the Public Accounts Committee today.
Members of the state's public spending watchdog are discussing how Rehab spends 82 million euro of state funding each year.
However the group's legal team say they won't discuss the e240,000 salary which is paid every year to Angela Kerins.
The committee has been told that the HSE is completing an audit of 2,500 organisations which offer services on behalf of the state, due to be finished by the end of March.
