It's understood that Rehab CEO Angela Kerins is to resign.
Ms. Kerins has been thrown into the public spotlight in recent months over the profitability of the Rehab lottery and her own salary.
The controversy ignited after it was revealed that sales of almost four million euros of Rehab scratch cards in 2010 yielded profits of under 9 and a half thousand euro.
In February Ms Kerins was brought before the Public Accounts Committee where she was grilled over her 240-thousand euro pay packet and claimed she earned less than the market rate.
The Committee appearance only brought more pressure on Kerins and Rehab, with embattled director Frank Flannery handing in his resignation last month.
PR adviser Michael Parker ending his relationship with the charity on Monday.
Full confirmation of Ms Kerins resignation is expected to come as early as this morning.
