A rave is being planned on social media to take place on St Patrick's Day in the Kildare/Dublin area.

Organisers say they don't want to have "another miserable Paddy's Day" and are selling tickets for €20.

They say the exact location will be revealed 12 hours beforehand, and say over 700 tickets have been sold so far.

A social media post advertising a ‘lockdown rave’ on St Patrick’s Day.

Organisers have described Covid as a hoax, and say they believe the current restrictions will end on March 5th and the gathering can then go ahead.

Writing on Instagram they say "Let's not have another miserable Paddy’s Day. Let's party hard."

Restrictions

While coronavirus restrictions are widely expected to be extended, they are currently only due to remain in place until March 5th.

As a result, organising the party is not in breach of any regulations – unless they move ahead with it after lockdown is extended.

Organisers say they can host up to 5,000 people, however tickets are limited because the event will be indoors.

They claim gardai will not find out the location.
