An outdoor rave took place in Dublin city with up to 100 people over the weekend.
Footage of the party has been widely shared online which shows a DJ playing to a crowd at the Oliver Bond flat complex.
It happened on Saturday night less than 24 hours after further restrictions were introduced in the capital allowing only 15 people to gather outdoors.
Gardaí say they responded to reports of a gathering at the residential complex and asked people to disperse.
Officers says they maintained a presence in the area and that no breaches of regulations were detected.
"In supporting the COVID-19 public health guidelines and regulations, An Garda Síochána has and will continue to adopt, a graduated policing response based on its tradition of policing by consent. This has seen Gardaí engage, educate, encourage and, as a last resort, enforce" Gardaí said in a statement.
