A man is due in court this morning after being charged in connection with a carjacking in Rathgar.
Last Friday, a man jumped into the back of a woman's car while she was stopped at traffic lights.
At around 3.40 on Friday, the victim was waiting to drive through a junction in Rathgar when a man got into the back seat.
Her two young children were also in the car at the time.
He claimed to have a weapon, threatened her, demanded money and ordered her to drive to her house and pick up an ATM card before driving back to Rathgar to withdraw some cash.
He then forced her to drive to Portobello where he left the car.
Investigating Gardai arrested a 41-year-old man yesterday and he's due in court this morning.
It comes just one day after a teenage boy appeared in court charged with a separate carjacking near Terenure in the early hours of Sunday.
Meanwhile a Garda manhunt is continuing for a four-man gang that stole a car from German tourists in Wicklow.
The couple had pulled over to help the men who'd been involved in a crash, and who then hijacked their Mercedes.
It was later found abandoned in Carlow.
Gardai suspect the four men had carried out a burglary in Carlow earlier yesterday and were making their getaway in a stolen Volvo, which they crashed in Wicklow when the German tourists came across them - and tried to help.
The woman who was injured was treated for minor injuries.
