Registration for the third annual Rainbow Run in Dublin opens today.
Thousands of runners and fun lovers are expected to turn out in Dun Laoghaire on Saturday, June 20.
Along the route, participants of all abilities and ages are doused from head to toe with coloured powder while they run, jog or walk the 5km route.
Rob Smyth, founder of The Rainbow Run said "The Rainbow Run takes the seriousness out of running, most people don't sign up to running events because they are too scared and don't know what to expect."
"People who attend The Rainbow Run are there to have fun with their friends & family and if they run, walk or crawl over the finish line all the better! This is just a fun day out for everyone", he added.
People are urged to wear white, and we're reassured that the coloured powders are non-toxic and harmless.
This year, there'll be a giant water slide into the Irish Sea, healthy snacks and music from 90s band Smash Hits to entertain people after they've completed the run.
Tickets for this year's event are available now, and will be discounted on the first day of sale.
