A post-mortem is due to take place today on the body of a man found dead at a house in rural county Tipperary yesterday.
The man’s body was removed from the house in the townland of Ballycrana near Kilross last night.
Gardaí attended the scene close to the border between Limerick and Tipperary border shortly after 4am yesterday morning.
The man had been living and working in Ireland for several years and is believed to be Eastern European.
It’s understood the man’s body showed signs of injuries and Gardaí say the results of a postmortem will determine the course of their investigation.
The two-storey house remains sealed off this morning for a technical examination.
The postmortem is due to take place at University Hospital Waterford.
Gardaí in Tipperary town are continuing to appeal to anyone with any information to contact them.
