An investigation has been launched into the discovery of the body of a man in Dublin's Grand Canal yesterday afternoon.
The body of the man in his 20s was located in the water near Dolphins Barn, and was removed from the scene.
A post mortem exam has taken place.
Gardai are appealing for information, particularly from anyone who was in the area in the early hours of Sunday morning between 2am and 5am.
Any road users who were travelling at the time with camera footage are asked to make this available to Gardaí.
