The Minister for Health and Chief Medical Officer at the HSE will discuss the report into the deaths of four babies at the Midlands Regional Hospital in Portlaoise this morning.
James Reilly and Tony Holohan are appearing before the Oireachtas Health Committee.
The report, released last week, concluded that families and patients were treated in a poor and at times appalling manner and that maternity services at the hospital were not safe or sustainable.
