Pope Francis has declared two of his predecessors saints in an historic ceremony in Vatican City.
The canonisation of John Paul the second and John the twenty third has taken place in front of hundreds of thousands of people.
Retired Pope Benedict the 16th is also there.
He and Pope Francis briefly greeted one another at the start of the ceremony.
Taoiseach Enda Kenny is one of 24 heads of government and 19 heads of State attending the dual canonisation in Rome this morning.
