A meeting of Dublin City joint policing committee has been suspended as no gardai attended.
Chair of the committee Daithi de Roiste says the committee will try to establish why no garda representatives attended the meeting scheduled to take place this afternoon.
Councillors suggested waiting until gardai were there to discuss issues on the agenda including Halloween and homelessness.
Before the meeting was abandoned, Councillor Daithi de Roiste was elected as chairperson.
