Police questioning Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams over the 1972 murder Jean McConville in Belfast have until 8 o'clock tonight to charge or release him.
Officers were granted an extra 48 hours on Friday to question Mr Adams who denies any involvement.
The North's Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness claims the arrest is 'politically motivated'.
But, Northern Ireland's First Minister Peter Robinson and Justice Minister David Ford deny that's the case.
