The building could span up to 108-metres in height.
A planning application has been submitted to construct Dublin's tallest building.
Property company Ventaway is behind the move, headed by developers David Kennan and Barry English.
They're seeking planning permission to construct a 24-storey skyscraper at the former City Arts Centre.
It'll be located at City Quay along Dublin's Docklands and primarily consist of office space.
Some of the 24 floors will consist of space for art exhibitions and studios at the foot of the building.

If built, it will become Dublin's highest building by just under 10 metres.
The proposed build could scale up to 108 metres in height, standing at just under 355 feet tall.
The tallest building in Dublin is Capital Dock, which is 79 metres high or 259 feet tall.
Ventaway plan to navigate building height limitations by referring to guidelines issued by former Housing Minister Eoghan Murphy.
Under these guidelines, local authorities can grant bigger builds on a qualitative basis.
