Nine people renting apartments in Castleknock have been told they have to move out.
The tenants in the Riverwood Hall complex have been given more notice than is legally required to leave.
They have also been given the option to buy their rented home, should they be able to afford it.
Local Sinn Féin Councillor Paul Donnelly says the notice has come as a shock to those affected.
A number of residents have contacted him who "have been desperately trying to get new accommodation but without any success", he said.
Councillor Donnelly has asked that those affected are "given as much time as is needed" to find new homes.
No Other Properties Affected
In a statement given to 98FM News on behalf of Mr. Michael McAteer/Grant Thornton, it was confirmed that the tenants have been asked to move out.
It confirmed that "all tenants were given statutory notice plus an additional 28 days", and that they "have also been given first right of refusal to purchase".
The statement also pledged that "there are no other properties or tenants to be affected in the future".
