Penneys has confirmed it will open it's new 43,000 sq ft store in Tallaght next month.
The fashion giant is coming to the Square Shopping Centre for the first time, officially opening on September 15th at 9.30am.
Located on the ground floor, the new store will include retail and beauty space, with fashion, homeware and beauty, including a Nails @ Penneys salon.
It's the first new Penneys to open in Dublin in six years after the retailer launched a new shop in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre in December 2016.
The new outlet is part of the company's commitment to invest €250 million in Ireland over the next 10 years.
Jack Martin, Head of Retail for The Square Town Centre, says it's a fantastic addition for the area;
"The people of Tallaght have been crying out for a Penneys store for over 20 years and I have no doubt will make this a hugely successful launch."
