12-15 year olds are getting their Covid-19 vaccine at clinics across the country today.
Over 75 thousand children in that age group have registered for a Pfizer or Moderna jab so far.
HSE chief executive Paul Reid says more than 10 thousand were administered yesterday.
Meanwhile, vaccinated pupils won't be required to get a Covid-19 test or restrict their movements if they become a close contact in school.
The HSE's planning the exemption, so long as they don't have symptoms.
However unvaccinated children will be required to take time out of the classroom.
