Only three weeks into Operation Spire and the Zero Tolerance strategy is already working on Dublin's O'Connell St.
Continual anti-social behaviour and crime led to the Garda operation being set up on the 27th of January.
So far 750 people have been searched, 52 detections have been made for posession of drugs for sale or supply, 5,500 illegal tablets have been seized and over 100 behaviour warnings have been given out.
Gardai from Store Street say that the use of covert Gardai and CCTV footage has helped and added that the zero tolerance operation won't wind down until the city centre is crime free.
