One in three women across Europe say they have experienced physical or sexual violence.
That's according to a new study carried out by the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights on violence against women.
The survey shows over one in five women - or 22 percent - have experienced physical or sexual violence at the hands of a partner, and 43 percent have experienced some form of psychological violence with a current or former partner.
Researchers say the statistics show women are being abused at home, at work, in public and on-line every day across the 28 EU member states.
