The Tourism Minister Leo Varadkar says members of the Government should not boycott New York's St Patrick's Day Parade over restrictions on LGBT groups.
The Parade has been mired in controversy in recent weeks over a ban on groups carrying signs or banners with gay rights slogans.
New York's Mayor Bill De Blasio says he's boycotting the event, while Social Protection Minister Joan Burton says she won't attend if invited.
But Minister Leo Varadkar says he doesn't believe snubbing the parade will have any impact.
