200 jobs are to be created in north Dublin at a food processing plant.
Ballymaguire Foods and Country Crest have announced a €25 million euro expansion of their facility in Lusk, with construction on the first phase already underway.
The new roles, which will consist of management positions, R&D, quality control, technicians, engineering, cooks and general operatives, are due to come on stream over the next five years.
Founded in 2008, Ballymaguire Foods, a sister company to Country Crest, is the largest fresh-prepared meals producer on the island of Ireland.
Making the announcement today, Managing Director and Co-owner of Ballymaguire Foods Ed Spelman said;
"Our production capability will be greatly increased and will be mainly used to fuel the opportunities we see in both this country and mainland Europe."
Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage Darragh O’Brien described the announcement as "a brilliant example of pure quality and excellence in a sector where Ireland excels and especially around sustainability and producing quality clean food."
