The Irish Cancer Society says its taken in €200,000 in donation in the last 24 hours.

It's after social media users encouraged each other to take "no make-up selfies" to raise awareness of Breast Cancer.

The social media craze has apparently been prompted by the RAK Nominations, which began as a positive alternative to the NEK Nomainations.

The #NoMakeUpSelfies aren't directly linked to the Irish Cancer Society, but the charity says it's very grateful for all the donations made so far.

Kathleen O' Meara says all the money raised will help fund breast cancer services and research.
