The owner of Slane Castle, Lord Henry Mountcharles, has confirmed that there will be no concert at the Boyneside venue this year.
Last year Bon Jovi and Eminem played there to capacity crowds on two separate dates.
Speaking a short time ago, Lord Mountcharles said he wanted to let music fans know early in the year that there would be no concert this summer.
He also confirmed he is "in active discussions," for a headline act for the summer of 2015.
