The Irish Cancer Society says it would love the "no make-up selfie" into an annual event.
It says 200-thousand euro has been raised by the trend in just 24 hours.
People taking part post their bare faced picture online, donate cash to a cancer charity, and nominate others to do the same.
Head of Fundraising Mark Mellett says he'd love to see it become a yearly event.
