Irish universities have failed to make the top 100 list of the worlds most prestigious institutions.
The poll published by Times Higher Education is based solely on reputation.
Over 10 thousand academics are asked to name their top 15 institutions.
The number one college is Harvard, followed by MIT, and Stanford.
Cambridge and Oxford make up the top 5.
Trinity College came in around the 200 mark, while UCD and DCU were at about 300.
