New features on WhatsApp mean we will be able to leave group chats on WhatsApp without letting others know.
Users will be able to exit a group privately without having to notify everyone. Instead only the admins will be notified.
Another feature will block people from taking screenshots of View Once messages, as part of an added layer of protection. The messages are designed to disappear after being opened.
The changes are being rolled out this month.
Mark Zuckerberg, Founder and CEO of Meta;
"We'll keep building new ways to protect your messages and keep them as private and secure as face-to-face conversations."
These new updates are the latest in WhatsApp's list of privacy features including end-to-end encryption, block and report, two-step verification, and end-to-end encrypted backups.
