The new handball centre on Dublin's Sackville Avenue is to become a walk-up testing facility for covid-19, opening later this week.
Capacity at a testing centre in North County Dublin is also being increased.
The HSE says as the number of people living in north Dublin who require Covid-19 testing is growing, it is expanding its testing capacity to meet this need and ensure that people get timely access to tests.
Croke Park will have both a drive-in and a walk-in facility to check people for the virus.
The HSE is advising:
· Testing is by appointment only
· Testing is arranged, as appropriate through a GP
· A person attending will know if they are attending drive-in testing in Croke Park or walk-in testing in the Croke Park and Community Handball Centre
· Testing will be open 6 days a week and will, over time, operate from 8am to 8pm
