Redevelopment at the Hellfire Club
An Bord Pleanala approved plans for a €19 million visitor centre at the Hellfire Club last month.
The controversial redevelopment includes a café, visitors centre, a tree canopy walk, and a 275-car car park.
Save The Hellfire Group campaigned against the plan, expressing concerns about damage to the landscape and wildlife.
However, planning permission was granted with the centre set to triple the number of visitors to 300,000 people per year.
Now we have artist impressions of what the new area will look like.
