Marlay Park will only be able to host up to six gigs next summer.
A new deal's been signed between Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and promoters MCD to hold six concerts a year for the next five years.
2015 saw only five concerts at the Rathfarnham venue, with new crowd control procedures and restrictions brought in to protect local residents.
Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council received over 450 thousand Euro in revenue from the events, which will be used to help carry out upgrade works in the park.
Previous projects include improvments to footpaths, the upgrade of Tamplin's Cottage and the renovation of the Craft Courtyard.
