331 New Cars were sold in Ireland yesterday.
Sales for October are up on previous months, but overall 2013 has seen a 6% drop in new cars sold.
And Ireland hasn't plugged in to the idea of electric cars, with only 44 of the vehicles registered here this year.
Shane Teskey of Motorcheck.ie says people are still favouring second hands cars.
