Businesses closing due to coronavirus
A number of businesses in Ireland are closing their doors today.
This morning McDonald's released a statement to say that maintaining safe social distancing while operating the business had become increasingly difficult.
All McDonald's restaurants will shut by 7pm tonight.

Subway
Subway will close their stores in Ireland and the UK from 5pm today.
A statement read: 'We believe this is the best thing to help social distancing and keep everyone as healthy as possible for as long as possible. '
Nando's
Nando's will also close all UK and Ireland restaurants.
More than 400 restaurants and some 18,000 staff will be affected.
Their statement read: 'The safety and security of our customers and team is always our top priority and with this in mind we have taken the decision to temporarily close all of our restaurants across the UK and Ireland, to help limit the spread of Covid-19.'
'Eat in, takeaway and delivery for customers will all stop until further notice and our remaining food will be given away to those who need it most across the community.'
Starbucks
Starbucks are temporarily closing.
They have urged people to stay safe and look after each other.
Krispy Kreme
Krispy Kreme will close from 6pm this evening.
They, 'look forward to opening our doors again to you when it is safe to do so.'
