The N3 inbound is closed due to a fatal incident.
It happened just before 11 o'clock this morning.
Gardaí say the road is expected to remain closed for a number of hours to facilitate an examination of the scene.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
A garda spokesperson says: "Gardaí are currently at the scene of a fatal incident on the N3 at Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 that occurred at approximately 10:50am this morning, Friday 27th October 2023."The N3 inbound is expected to remain closed for a number of hours to facilitate an examination of the scene.
