Gardaí have launched a murder investigation after the death of a woman in Mayo yesterday.
28-year-old Sarah Staunton was found dead at a house near Mayo Abbey yesterday afternoon.
A post mortem was carried out earlier today.
A man in his early 20’s who was arrested last night remains in custody this evening.
