Over €3.9 million worth of cannabis has been recovered in a number of seizures over Wednesday and Thursday of this week.
These seizures were made by Gardaí from the Dublin Metropolitan Region North and the Dublin Crime Response team as part of Operation Tara in the Dublin 9 and 3 areas.
€420 thousand worth of the drug was found when a vehicle was searched in Drumcondra, and a 42-year-old man has been arrested and is being questioned at a Garda station in the Dublin region.
A follow-up search also involving the drugs and detective units from Clontarf and Raheny at an industrial premises in Fairview also saw €3.5 million worth of cannabis recovered.
Gardaí say their investigations are ongoing.
