A motorcyclist in his 20s has died in a road crash in Tallaght this morning.
It happened when his motorbike collided with a pedestrian at around 2.45 am this morning.
The pedestrian, who was also a young man in his twenties, was taken by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital from the scene on Whitestown Way.
His injures are not life threatening.
The road is currently closed for examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Gardaí are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
Any road users with camera footage (including dash-cam), and who were travelling in the vicinity of Whitestown Way at the time, is asked to make it available to Gardaí.
