A man in his fifties has died in a crash close to the Port Tunnel.
He came off his motorbike close to the northbound bore just after ten this morning.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, which has re-opened after being closed for much of the day.
The man's body has been removed from the scene and a post mortem will take place at Dublin City Morgue.
There were no other vehicles involved in the crash.
