Hundreds of brave swimmers took part in the annual Liffey Swim today.
Over 500 men and women took part in the competition, which kicked off at 11:30am with the women's race, followed by the men's race at 12:45pm.
This year was the 103rd anniversary of the event, which is considered by many to be the All-Ireland for swimming.
The women's race was won by Rosanne Marshall, while Ronan Dalton won the men's competition.
Rosanne was delighted with her win, after braving the water.
"I feel amazing. Very unexpected. I'm 18 years doing this".
"There's no higher privilege or honours. I think 2nd and 3rd were hot on my heels, so just the last push from under O'Connell Bridge I knew I was in the lead, but just making sure nobody fell out of the sky around me at the end".
The contestants were lucky with the weather for today's event, as the sun shone down on the swimmers with 22-degree heat.
