Miracle weight loss ads are going to be banned from Instagram and Facebook.
Under 18s will also be blocked from seeing weight loss ads that include prices or incentives to buy.
The move comes after a petition gained over 240 thousand signatures calling on celebrities to stop promoting diet products.
Youth Development Officer with Body Wyse, Fiona Flynn, says it's a good move.
She explained that "influencers can have a negative impact" on young people's mental health.
"To eliminate the possibility of them promoting these products which could be harmful" is a good idea, she said.
