A government minister says an appalling number of people met up to drink in public spaces in the city last night.
Huge crowds gathered and left a large amount of litter behind.
Yesterday evening the country found out restrictions on outdoor meetups would ease from April 12th.
From then people from 2 different households will be able to meet.
But some people are not waiting.
Last night big crowds gathered in Dublin - along the Grand Canal, Dartry Park and St Stephen's Green
