Met Eireann has revealed the storm names which could hit Irish shores next year.
There are four Irish based names listed on this year's list - they are Barra, Meabh, Pol and Sean.
This is in conjunction with the UK Met Office as well as the KNMI in the Netherlands - which is the Dutch equivalent.
So for this reason you'll see some names that are Dutch - like Tineke, Imani and Vergil - and then some UK-based names like Dudley, Jack and Ruby.
📢Here is the list of storm names for 2021-22📢
Working together with @metoffice in the UK and Dutch @KNMI, storms are named to help raise awareness of severe weather before it arrives.

The first storm that could hit us will be Storm Arwen - if it is named by either Met Eireann, the Met Office or the KMNI.
