Met Eireann has issued a weather advisory for colder weather next week.
It says there will be significantly colder conditions from Monday, which will last through much of the week.
Frost and ice are likely, while there is the potential for sleet, snow and hail for some.
The forecaster says the main impacts are expected from Tuesday through to Friday - with low temperatures expected.
It says the conditions will be quite a shock after the unusually mild start to November.

In a statement Met Eireann says: "A transition to significantly colder conditions will take place from Monday 18th November lasting through much of the week.
"Wintry hazards including frost and ice are likely with potential for sleet, snow and hail for some."
